Day 17 -
           Kids Tutu and Headband

 

Items needed:
 
For the tutu-

2 rolls tutu material
2-3 feet each of ribbon

For the headband-

the leftover tutu material from the tutu
1 ft ribbon
elastic material (I used a 2 inch thick piece of old tights, works awesome for newborns head pieces, doesn't leave any marks and stretches out with the baby)

How to make:

TUTU-

1. Put the 2 pieces of ribbon together
2. Cut the tutu material into 10 inch pieces
3. Fold the material piece by piece in half, laying it down on the table
4. Lay the ribbon over the top of the material, and put the ends of it threw the loop pulling it nice and tight around the ribbon. continue this until its as thick as you want
5. Once your all done with the material, pull the material nice and snug together and tie the ribbon, as the baby grows you can make it grow with them, with the longer ends of the ribbon, and moving the material down the ribbon

HEADBAND-

1. Cut the legging material 2 inches think
cut ribbon 9 inches long
2. Fold the tutu material like your making the tutu (I cut it 5.5 inches), using the rest of the material
3. Once done with the material tie the ends together around the legging material and tie a bow
4. All done and super cute!!!!

The thing that took me the longest was cutting the tutu material, other than that it was a super easy, super quick and a super cute project!!
