Day 14 -
      Coloured Pasta

 

This one was a huge hit with my daughter. She seen it on Pinterest, she thought it was the coolest thing. So we went off to the store she choose the pasta, We came home and so it began.......

Ingredients:

• Bag of Pasta
• Food Colouring

Instructions:

1. Choose the colours to dye the pasta
2. Fill a pot with water and about 10 drops of the dye of your choice, and let it boil
3. Once its boiling put in the pasta and cook it
4. Add butter and eat it, of bag and freeze it for later

The freezing part is what we did, she choose 3 dye. We split the pasta up into 3 and cooked each one with a different dye (Pink, Purple and Blue)
We mixed all the pasta together and bagged it all in freezer bags in portion sizes for her to take to school for lunch. She cam home last night and raved about it for a good hour, she loved it and all her friends thought it was the coolest thing.
So needless to say this was a huge hit!!
