Day 13 -
French Toast Sticks
Ingredients:
1 loaf of bread
12 eggs
1/2-2/3 cup milk
2-3 tbsp. vanilla
Instructions:
1. Slice up the bread into for pieces each slice
2. Mix the eggs, milk and vanilla into a large bowl
3. Heat up the pan (I used a flat grill)
4. Dip bread pieces in the batter and put it on the grill to cook, flip over and cook on both sides until the loaf of bread is all cooked
5. Serve some of it hot, and the rest put away for later (I put the rest on a cookie sheet and stuck it in the freezer each piece not touching, than transferred to bags and stuck the leftovers in the fridge to be served later)
Everyone in the house loves French toast, so this was definitely a hit!!!! The kids especially liked it cause its kids size, they can pick it up and eat it with there hands dipping it in the syrup. My daughters already got it planned out what she's doing with the leftovers in the freezer, She's making her lunches for school and she's taking a few pieces and a container of syrup to school to eat it. This kid would live off French toast if I would let her.
